Upcoming Changes to the Readiness Level

Date: 12th Oct 2020 Author: Chris Valentine

Following on from the Government announcement this afternoon that the Liverpool City Region will be moved into a tier 3 framework. The National Youth Agency has confirmed to UK Scouts that areas classed as ‘Tier 3 (Very High)’, under the new Government framework, which currently applies to the whole of St Helens, will move to a Readiness Level of Red; as of Wednesday 14th October. This unfortunately means that there must be no face-to-face Scouting activities across Merseyside, from Wednesday until further notice, and without any exception.

Changes are expected to be made to the Readiness Level web pages on Wednesday.
