Most people think Scouting is all about young people - that’s mostly true, but it’s also very much for adults, for without adult volunteers there would be no Beavers, Cubs, Scouts or Explorers and none of the fantastic activities that all members of the organisation enjoy!
Over 100,000 adults are regularly involved in the UK as members of the Association with about 200 adult volunteers in St Helens alone. If your son or daughter is a member of the organisation or you just like the look of Scouting and would like to get involved as a helper, instructor or leader, we have always got room for more adults in St Helens. You can give as much or as little of your time as you choose.
It doesn’t matter if you have never been involved in Scouting before, for all our leaders are trained so they have the knowledge and skills necessary to ensure our youngsters get the maximum benefit from Scouting and realise their potential to become positive, active citizens.
So if you think you have got what it takes to become a leader, or helper and want to know more, give us a call without obligation on 01744 750702 to have an informal chat with a member of our District Team.
